Anita is a wife and mother of three. Like many homemakers, her days were filled with the routines of caring for her family. But in 2010, her life took a meaningful turn when she witnessed a choir of visually impaired singers performing beautifully at Stella Maris Catholic Church in Pluit. That very day, she felt called to take part in the Disability Services Bureau under Lembaga Daya Dharma of the Archdiocese of Jakarta (LDD KAJ). Founder of Deus Caritas Est
Anita also came to see how difficult it was for many of them to find work and sustain their daily needs. At the request of a visually impaired friend, she began teaching simple craft classes, hoping to equip them with skills for independence. Yet she soon realized that training alone was not enough. What they needed was continuous guidance; from developing their creativity to bringing their products to market. At that point, Anita made a deeper commitment to walk this path with God, to bring His love into action through Deus Caritas Est, a home of creation where people with disabilities can grow, create, and find dignity in their journey.

Deo Caritas Eterna
Through empowerment programs and creative work, Yayasan Deo Caritas Eterna strives to open wider spaces for people with disabilities to grow, create, and live independently with dignity. This social initiative is embodied in Deus Caritas Est (DCE) as an expression of love that brings hope.
